"Bundle of Joy" 8x8 inch mini album feat. Kaisercraft Little One collection
Hello there, craft-y friends!
I present my very first custom-made album! A friend wanted an album to house pictures of her kids--but did not want a traditional baby album in pastel shades. In fact, this album is to hold pics of a brother-sister duo--the sister being expected soon :D *Love and luck to the little 'un.*
My friend and I browsed baby themed packs from Echo Park, DCWV, and a host of others...before zeroing down on Kaisercraft's Little One! Thank god for Maninder over at RainbowCraftykari who took a pre-order for the papers (I needed two packs) and a pack of die-cut collectibles. As most of us know, Kaisercraft paper packs come with only 10 sheets of paper each, and this album is an 8x8 with tons of flips and flaps! I needed cardstock to supplement the pattern paper. I picked up a pack of American Crafts textured cardstock in pastels--luckily enough, they coordinated PERFECTLY with the paper pack! Hurrah!
I have kept the pages fairly simple and steered clear of intricate embellishments--so that the album is easy to use and does not need very delicate handling.
Here's the video demo [I sound tired and incoherent at times, thanks to the nights I stayed up :P Sorry about that!]:
And here are the stills!
I'd LOVE to hear from you guys--please let me know what you think of this project
Thanks a ton for stopping by!
xoxo
